Beautiful Print Collection, from Limited Edition to Gicle: (pronounced / "zhee-clay") a neologism coined in 1991 by printmaker Jack Duganne for fine art digital prints made on high quality ink-jet printers often used by artist, galleries, and print shops to denote such prints. Neil has established himself as an artist devoted to capturing the disappearing wilderness, wildlife and shoreline from Florida to New England. Neil was born in Manchester, Connecticut. In 1950, he moved to Florida and studied commercial art and design in St. Petersburg. He studied fine art with Larry Webster AWS in Clark Island, Maine. Neil then went on to study privately with Murray Wentworth AWS in Norwell, Massachusetts. Finally, he studied under Charles Miller and privately with Ritchie Cooper. He has traveled from the Florida Everglades to below zero winters in Minnesota to the jagged rocks of Monhegan Island off the coast of Maine to the Communal Amish Country of Pennsylvania and to the peaceful rivers of North Florida
